Overview
It’s Gosu League of Legends event sponsored by Twitch.TV are open to 128 teams on the North American server. All teams must adhere to all rules and regulations listed in the tournament rules outline.
This is a two (2) day event. The brackets will be played to the semi-final round and the semi and final rounds will be played on February 18 with a start time of 2pm EST.
Schedule
Check-in Open: Friday, Feb 17th, 2012 from 03:00PM - 5:45PM EST (12:00PM - 2:45PM PST)
*check-in tab will appear on the specified date and time
Tournament Start: Friday, Feb 17th, 2012 @ 6:00PM EST (3:00PM PST)
Semi/Final: Saturday, Feb 18th, 2012 @ 2:00PM EST (11:00AM PST)
Game Rules
- Game type: Custom, Tournament Draft
- Teams: 5v5
- Champs & items: All are allowed
- Bans: 6 total (3 per team)
- Best of 1 upto Round of 8 then Best of 3
- No mirror picks allowed
- Both teams must have a complete team present (5 members) in the Custom game lobby within 15 minutes of the invitation. If a team does not have all members they will forfeit the first match. If the team is still absent at 30 minutes the round is forfeit and the team is disqualified.
- Match results page MUST be screenshoted and posted on the tournament page. Delay or failure to do so may result in forfeit of the round.
Registration requirements
- All members of team must have a valid It’s Gosu account
- All members of team must have a level 30 account, in good standing, on the appropriate server. (ie: NA, EU West, EU East etc.)
- Team Captain must post roster in the comment section complete with: all team members, including a substitute (if needed), League of Legends summoner names and team name.
Format
Round of 128: Best of 1
Round of 64: Best of 1
Round of 32: Best of 1
Round of 16: Best of 1
Round of 8: Best of 3
Semi-Final/Finals: Best of 3
Prizes
1st place: $500 USD Team Prize and $20 RP + Triumphant Ryze + Champion Skin Bundle (whatever the next release will be) per player
2nd place: $15 RP + Champion Skin Bundle per player
3rd place: $10 RP + Champion Skin Bundle per player
4th place: $10 RP per player
RP= Riot Points
Cash prizes will be issued to the Team Captain via Paypal. Riot prizes will be distributed to players directly, substitutes may receive prizes if deemed by Team Captain otherwise prize portion will be held by It's Gosu and/or Riot.

- Match results page MUST be screenshoted in cases of disputed victory.
Substitutions
- Each team may elect to have one (1) substitute.
- If a substitute is being used the captain must inform the opposing teams captain as soon as possible.
- If a match cannot be completed without additional substitutions the match must be forfeited.
- Account sharing is NOT ALLOWED and if a team is found to be in violation they will forfeit all winnings and could be banned from future events.
- Substitutes may not be members of other teams OR listed as substitutes on another roster.
Disputes and Rulings
- All disputes must be brought to the attention of admins IMMEDIATELY by private messaging them in game.
- All disputes must have screen shot evidence to justify claim and to aide in a fair ruling.
- The ruling of It’s Gosu staff is final.
Streaming and Spectators
- Only approved persons and It’s Gosu personnel are allowed to spectate the event.
